How old do you need to be to participate in the Jim Leonhard Football Skills Camps?

The high school camp is for athletes going into grades 9-12.

The youth camp is for athletes going into grades 5-8.

How and when can I register for camp?

High school pre-registration will open online and by mail on March 13, 2015.  Youth pre-registration will open online and by mail on April 1, 2015.  Both pre-registrations will close June 5, 2015.

Online pre-registration can be accessed on the camp website.  You must fill out the registration form in its entirety and a parent/guardian must type their name as an online signature.  When you submit the registration form you receive a confirmation email with a confirmation number.  If you do not receive an email within 24 hours please contact us at info@jimleonhardfootball.com.  After submitting a high school registration you will be asked to submit payment with Paypal.

To mail in your pre-registration please download and print a registration form.  Fill out the form and mail to JKLeonhard LLC, PO Box 2386, Madison, WI 53703.  Please include payment of $75 for the high school camp by check written to JKLeonhard LLC.  No payment is needed for the youth camp.

Registration is first come, first served.  The high school camp has a limit of 100 athletes.  The youth camp has a limit of 200 athletes.  If these numbers are met before camp starts registration will close and a wait-list will be started to fill cancellations and no-shows.

Can I register on the day of the camp?

Yes, you can register the day of the camp however if the camp has reached it’s maximum capacity prior to that time registration will be closed.  No-show spots will be filled from a wait list at the beginning of camp, 9:00 am for the high school camp and 12:00 pm for the youth camp.

What should I bring to camp?

High school athletes should wear comfortable workout attire. T-shirt and shorts are recommended as well as any weather appropriate clothing for possible rain or cool mornings.  Bring football cleats and gloves for on field activities as well as athletic shoes suitable for the gym.

Youth athletes should wear comfortable workout attire and athletic shoes.  T-shirt and shorts are recommended as well as any weather appropriate clothing for possible rain or cool mornings.  Athletes are encouraged but not required to bring football cleats or gloves.

All athletes must have a signed waiver on record in order to participate at camp.  If an online or mailed pre-registration was signed and submitted by a parent/guardian this signed waiver is already on record.  If you are registering the day of camp a parent/guardian must sign a waiver.

What time should I arrive at camp?

Please arrive early the first day of camp.  Registration and check-in will open 1 hour before camp at 8:00 am on Friday, June 12, 2015 for the high school camp and 11:00am on Sunday, June 14, 2015 for the youth camp.  No-show spots will begin to be filled at the start of camp (9:00 am for high school and 12:00 pm for youth).
